Frat Boys decided that Nike shorts and a t-shirt were the “ugliest outfit a girl could wear”
Maybe the guys’ website Total Frat Move thought they were doing God’s work when they posted a not-so-creative article earlier this week titled “Norts Under a T-Shirt Is the Ugliest Outfit a Girl Can Wear “. Not only is this conclusion random and extremely stupid, but also, oh yeah, no one asked you.
The author of the article, Jared Borislow, describes the visceral reaction he had when he saw a student wearing such a look (“the norts” are Nike shorts, by the way): “She was wearing an outfit so obnoxious that I would have squeezed lemon segments in my eyes to relieve the pain Really nice, man.
Borislow seems particularly offended at the choice of women’s shirt, complaining that “the ensemble in question turns every girl he touches into an amorphous drop”. He goes on to add, “It’s like she’s a pirate version of one of the Wonder Twins, and the contact with her shirt activates her superpower: the ability to transform into a purple entity of unflattering form.”
The “writer” manages to string together nearly 700 additional words on the subject, which we will spare you, you are welcome.
So now women are not only forced to endure the shame of sluts from ignorant haters, but also, apparently, we are criticized for wearing comfortable clothes. Because we’ve spent too much time on this already, tell me once again: Women shouldn’t be judged on what they choose to put on their bodies. We dress for ourselves and don’t ask for anyone’s advice, especially when it’s coming from behind a computer screen and the word fraternity is involved.
Twitter user Common White Girl brought the article to the attention of the masses, tweeting a link and writing, “I’ve never cared less in my entire life.” As expected, social media agrees.
